Cordless Multi Tool LXT for extra versatility
Makita’s new Multi tool DTM52 is a highly versatile tool powered by Brsuhless Motor, for different materials and uses. AVT (Anti Vibration Technology) and new slim grip design make it comfortable to use even for longer periods.
Versatile tool with wide compatibility
DTM52 can do deep plunge cutting, pocket cutting, metal cutting, sanding and polishing and many more jobs. Thanks to its wide range of accessories available, the new Multi tool can work around multiple different materials, for example wood, metal, tile, plaster and PVC.
The new Multi tool is equipped with Starlock Max accessory attachment, which makes the tool compatible with Starlock, Starlock Plus and Starlock Max blades. Blades are color coded for materials they are meant to be used for, to make it easier to choose the correct blade.
Highly efficient cutting
DTM52 is powered by Makita's 18V LXT® batteries. Its brushless motor provides up to 20 000 OPM's (Oscillations Per Minute). The oscillation speed can be selected with 6-step dial from between 10 000 to 20 000 OPM's.
The blade can be changed toollesly, thanks to lever-style lock system. Blade's angle can be selected with 12 angle settings from 0° to 360°. Sanding pad -accessory can be equipped with dust extraction attachment to make working clean. Single LED job light illuminates working area in darker surroundings.
User comfort with the new design
Compared to previous models, DTM52 has a relocated motor, which stands upright and closer to the front end of the main body, allowing the slimmer grip design. In addition to slimmer grip, user comfort is increased with AVT (Anti Vibration Technology). Thanks to AVT, DTM52 has a vibration level of 2,5 m/s² or less with maximum cutting efficiency.
